We care about our planet and its inhabitants. For this reason, Flame in aims to be operating sustainably and ethically at every level.

Working Ethic

For us, planning ahead is a central component of sustainable development. The work begins with carefully calculating the quantities of ingredients, soaking wax and scent formulas for each candle size, and measuring the wick size before each candle is poured. Fully conceptualizing and refining each batch helps us reduce material losses to almost zero.

A well-planned candle making process minimizes energy consumption in the studio.

Safe components

We use only the finest local materials - 100% natural wax and aromatic oils manufactured in Europe, safe to use, we provide mandatory documentation (SDL, IFRA, allergen declaration).

Our aromatic oils:

• phthalate free

• without carcinogens

• does not pose a risk to the reproductive system and the fetus in the mother's womb (CMR Agent-Free)

• suitable for vegans (the formula does not contain products of animal origin)

• the product or its components have not been tested on animals

• the aromatic oils we supply do not contain lilial (CAS 80-54-6 or butylphenyl methylpropional)! In the European Union, it was banned for use in cosmetics in March 2022, when it was found to be harmful to fertility. Lilialis is an organic chemical compound that often gives the smell of cyclamen or hollyhock flowers, but EFSA has found this compound to be toxic to the human reproductive system. Therefore, the compound can no longer be considered safe.
